Hannibal Concert Association invites musical group for kids

A musical group from the East Coast came to Hannibal Monday to play for 5th graders at Veterans Elementary.

The Hannibal Concert Association brought The Hunts in to educate kids on different types of music.  Clint and Sandy Hunt and their seven children played the fiddle, Irish drums, piano, guitar and other instruments.  Mike Marx, who helped bring them to Hannibal, says this is a way to open kids eyes to music.

Well I think this is a whole different side of music that they wouldn't normally get to see. This group here does the Irish Dance and fiddle playing and a young audience like this, when are they going to get a chance to see that?" he asked.

The Hannibal Concert Association will host a concert Monday Night at Hannibal LaGrange University.
