Vehicle burglary arrest

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

On Tuesday, October 30th, at approximately 1:40 AM, Quincy Police Department units were called to the 600 Block of South 43rd St. in reference to a suspicious person who was inside a vehicle. 

When they arrived, officers made contact with a subject who fled the area on foot.

An investigation led to the arrest of Zachary T. Boyer, 18, on a charge of Burglary to a Motor Vehicle. 

Boyer was released on a notice to appear. 

The investigation is ongoing.
