Quincy Fire Dept. donates nearly $8K to Blessing Hospital Cancer Center

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Not only was Wednesday Halloween, but also the last day of October and Breast Cancer Awareness month.

To make the occasion, Quincy firefighters made a big donation.

The Quincy Fire Department donated nearly $8,000 to Blessing Hospital's Cancer Center, raised from their second annual "Firefighters For A Cause" t-shirt sale.

Quincy firefighter Mike Dade designed the shirts.
