A homegrown business in Hannibal held its grand opening Wednesday afternoon.
Papa's Country Patch is right off Mark Twain Avenue...by Abney Home Improvement. The store shelves are stocked with everything made local, whether it be Jams, Produce, or even painted saws. Co-Owner Joyce Abney said she wanted to showcase items made in the Tri-States, instead of things shipped from outside the area.
So it's really local people, it gives them a chance to sell their things that they just made and that gives us a chance to offer it to the area some truly unique gifts and items and of course sell the good produce too made right here in this area," Abney said.
Abney said she's working to bring more Christmas items to the store in the next few weeks.
