QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- A home near 17th and Jersey was a must-see on Halloween.
Big crowds were attracted to the the Durante home Wednesday night. It screams Halloween, complete with strobe lights, sound effects and a yard full of live characters that included zombies!
Kids had to be extremely brave to make it to the front door to score some candy. And homeowner Courtney Durante says over the years, she's taken her love of Halloween to a whole new level.
"For Halloween the first year when our son was little we decided to dress up to scare people and we had so much fun and then we got the neighbors involved and now we even have family from Chicago that come down to help us scare!"
Last year Durante says they had 1500 kids come by to trick-or-treat.
