Posted:
HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

One suspected meth maker is behind bars, another is still on the loose after a police chase in Hannibal Thursday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol say a vehicle blew through a safety checkpoint set up at Ely and Valley.

After about a mile chase, the car crashed into a utility pole.

Troopers say two suspects got out and ran. The driver was caught after a short foot chase. The passenger escaped.

Troopers searched the van and reportedly found a mobile meth lab.

If you have any information on the passenger's whereabouts, call the police.
