Quincy woman pleads guilty to charge related to fatal domestic dispute

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy woman pleads guilty to reckless discharge of a firearm in connection to a dispute that ended with her husband's death.

Police say 28-year-old Bethany Coyle grabbed a handgun during a fight with her husband, Wallace Coyle, back in May.

She fired one round that hit the wall.

Authorities say there was a scuffle for the gun, Wallace Coyle gained control and shot himself in the head.

Bethany Coyle is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 19.
