Three Car Collision Injures Five


A car collision in Adams County injures five people - two injured seriously.

It happened just after five Sunday evening on Highway 57 north of Bangert Road.

According to the Adams County Sheriff's Office, a truck was driving south on Highway 57, when - according to the drivers in the other vehicles - it crossed over the center line into oncoming traffic.

Deputies say the truck collided with a car head-on, and then lost control and collided with a third vehicle.

They say two people were taken by ambulance to Blessing Hospital.

The driver of the truck - James D. Cook Jr- was arrested for reckless driving and improper lane usage.
