The Outpatient Mental Health Center in Hannibal is moving to a new location on Friday.
The Hannibal Regional Medical Group is relocating its mental health services to its new building at 31-45 Highway 61. The Hannibal Free Clinic is in the same building. Officials said people who come in can now have more privacy and more therapy space.
"It really does help them. I mean they won't have to come on sight here at the hospital. There's greater access out where the new building is. We already have another facility there. It's closer to other community services that are out there, so it just makes sense," said Hannibal Regional Medical Group Executive Director Tim Polley.
The mental health center offers services for adults, teens, and children including: psychotherapy, family and couples therapy, and medication evaluation.
