Ft. Madison man arrested for selling drugs near school


A Ft. Madison man is accused of selling drugs near a school.

Jacob Rogers, 26, was arrested Thursday after agents searched his home at 1332 Avenue F, less than a block away from Lincoln Elementary School.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force says Rogers was dealing marijuana and the prescription drug alprazolam.

If convicted, Rogers faces up to 82 years in prison.
