Looking for work? Local job fairs are offering an easy way to connect with potential employers.
Applicants came to a job fair Friday at the NECAC office in New London.
Officials say they can see between 10-40 people, depending on how big the need is in their current location.
Robert Conley was a stay at home dad but when things got tough, he went out looking for a full time job.
"It's been very hard. There's people that's not hiring, people are closing doors. It's just the state of the economy. It's just a drag on everybody and it's just getting harder and harder to find good jobs," Conley said.
NECAC hosts job fairs every week in their office in Mexico. A Nov. 20 job fair is also scheduled in Moberly. They are looking to fill industrial, warehouse, some specialty jobs such as welding.
