Traffic diverted along Route 79 due to motorcycle accident

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

A motorcycle crash south of Hannibal late Friday afternoon sent one woman to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol say 56-year-old Faith Saylor of Hannibal was driving a motorcycle on Route 79 when she lost control crossing the railroad tracks near Continental Cement and fell off her bike.

She had to be airlifted from the scene.

Traffic was blocked in the area for about an hour.
