Baldwin Student Council members helped pack hundreds of boxes full of donated food.
The students had a goal to raise 12,000 food items. Officials with the school say, this year they saw extra efforts from students because they wanted to help those in need.
"Some of them even went door to door, went to their family members, grandmas and grandpas, it's just that feeling of pride that 'this is Quincy, this is my community, and I'm helping out'," Tara Dicks, Baldwin Student Council Sponsor, said.
All food donated by Baldwin students to the Fall Harvest will stay local and will be given to the Salvation Army for distribution.
