QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Traffic has been reopened on Gardner Expressway in Quincy following an accident involving a semi and SUV.

Northbound lanes were closed for just about an hour after the Adams County Sheriff's Office said a semi truck pulled out in front of an SUV near the intersection of Gardner Expressway and Lock & Dam Road, near the ADM building.

A woman driving the SUV was taken to Blessing Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the semi, 29-year-old Jonathan Cook, was ticketed with failure to yield.
