Black Friday is here with more stores ready to open at midnight with big deals.
But several stores have already been open giving people a head start on their Christmas shopping but that didn't mean the lines were any shorter.
The line at Sears were so long store managers broke it up into two lines to accommodate everyone.
The first two people in line who had been there since 3 a.m. and said they had their sights set on the same deal.
"I've been waiting sine 3 a.m. in the morning, and I'm waiting for the 50" TV for $300," said Estella Crowder.
"I've been waiting since 5 a.m. this morning looking for this TV," said Sarah Mowen.
Sarah Mowen told me she passed the time waiting in line by doing her school homework.
Other people I talked with say they simply slept.
While some of those people were sleeping in line one family at K-Mart that didn't have time for sleeping on the job.
They had a strategy on how to tackle the big crowds that came out early on this Thanksgiving Day.
"We've kind of got our plan set out where we want to go and things we are specifically looking for, so we hope we can get the deals when we can," said Christina Booth.
"Kinda just hit the stores and we have three of us that shop so one of us goes to one store and gets all the stuff we need at that one, so we can get the best deals at the best times," said Courtney Dunham.
Christina Booth and Courtney Dunham were taking advantage of the early sales this afternoon at K-Mart.
The duo says they planned to shop until they dropped to find the lowest prices on items they wanted.
"We're looking for electronics probably more toys good deals on clothing," said Christina Booth.
K-Mart closed its doors at four o'clock allowing another long line to form for new deals when the store re-opened at eight this evening.
But some shoppers weren't too happy with the outcome of their shopping experience.
"People had been in line for three hours and nothing they didn't have the courtesy to come out and say 'hey sorry if you're here for the TV's we only had so many vouchers," said Daniel Foster.
You can check online as well as call those stores for opening time information.
