Some people decided to avoid the dishes and stress of cooking today and went out to eat on thanksgiving.
The Abbey in Quincy was packed with people who could order off the menu or choose a turkey dinner.
One woman said her family opted to eat out because all of her family can't get together until tomorrow, so some of them went out to lunch on Thanksgiving.
"My daughter and her husband went to her in-laws today, so everybody had different things to do today so we thought we'll just come to the restaurant and we'll all get together tomorrow," said Yvonne Cochran.
The Abbey is serving dinner tonight until 10:00 p.m. if you decide you don't want to cook or reheat leftovers.
