One local group decked the halls on Saturday. It was the first day of the Quincy Museum's Christmas exhibit for this holiday season.
The museum is now filled with many Christmas trees, garland, candles, and more. Guided tours are given so people can learn about the history that fills this mansion.
Also on the tours, people get the chance to see specially decorated spaces which were setup by different organizations.
"We tell them what is in every room downstairs and a little bit of the history of the Newcomb family and Stillwell family and the building itself," said Sandra Huddleston, the volunteer coordinator.
The Quincy Museum is located at 1601 Maine Street. Their hours are 1-5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
