More locals taking the train on Thanksgiving

For those people who chose not to drive, many chose to take the train instead.  Amtrak Road Foreman Ben Sheets said this is the busiest time for the train company.  In fact, the station had three trains come into Quincy Sunday which they've never done before.  A college student at QU says taking the train has its perks, and it's much cheaper.

"It usually takes us about three to four tanks back and forth and with the train ticket it's probably like a tank and a half for the ticket," said Christine Florido.

Sheets said Amtrak ridership has steadily increased over the past 13 years.
