Renovations at the Quincy Public Library have brought a lot of changes over the past year. Now they're bringing back something of old.
Murals are now being painted on the walls of the children's department.
Quincy Public Library Executive Director Nancy Dolan says the murals were something that parents missed and they had some renovation money left over, so they decided to add some color to the walls.
Artist Jennifer Bock-Nelson is painting the tree landscapes, representing the local area.
"We wanted something that matched our tree in the department and we want local scenery. The mural that we're planning for the new wall will actually have the bridge and the river in it," said Dolan.
Dolan hopes to have the forest murals complete by the end of the year.
