A man who's dedicated many years to giving back to the Quincy community is still finding ways to help even as he prepares to retire.
Terry Myers' final day as president of ADM Alliance Nutrition is Thursday. Wednesday, a fundraiser farewell lunch was held in his honor and all the money went to the United Way. Leaders said Myers is always willing to help, whatever and whenever.
"That's just the type of person he is. Whether it comes to business or helping the community, he's always involved and he's going to do what it takes and he's always first in line to know what can I do to help and what can I do to help everyone else. He has the biggest heart," said United Way Committee Chair Rebecca Mowen.
Myers said he still plans to work with the United Way after retiring.
