
Luckily, no one was seriously injured when a semi collided with a car Thursday afternoon in Northeast Missouri.
The accident happened around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 6 and 156 in Ewing.
Lewis County Deputy Sheriff Jerrod Eisenberg says the car was going east on Highway 6 and turned into the path of an oncoming semi.
The car was totaled, but the driver sustained only minor injuries. A dog in the car was also taken to the vet.
Traffic was blocked for about two hours.
