MoDOT to begin concrete replacement Monday south of Hannibal

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin replacing sections of concrete along Missouri 79, south of Hannibal, on Monday.

Traffic will be down to one lane from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily from the Mark Twain Cave to Continental Cement. MoDOT says traffic could remain down to one lane until late each evening to allow time to dry.

The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday.
