Payson restaurant hosting fundraiser Sunday for a "Super" boy

The Payson community is coming together Sunday to support a local family going through some tough times.

The Park View Restaurant in Payson will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday for breakfast, lunch and supper.

Two-year-old Easton Zanger is back in the St. Louis Children's Hospital suffering from a virus which has attacked his nervous system.

He's been in a coma for almost a month now.

Owner of the Park View Restaurant, Roy Noble, says Payson is a very close-knit community, so when he heard bills were piling up, he decided to host a fundraiser for the Zanger family.

"We wanted to be able to help in a way we knew that we could. I think I'm a pretty dog-gone good cook and I knew that was a way that I could do something that would help them," said Noble.

All of the proceeds go to the Zanger family.

"Medical expenses, travel costs back and forth between St. Louis, hotel expenses, food expenses down there. We know it's not cheap so just wanted to find a way that we could help them," said Noble.
