If your Christmas tree has a bit of a bare spot this year, the Alzheimer's Association in Quincy may have just the thing.
The organization hosted an open house at the Senior Center today, where they displayed two items they're selling this holiday season, to help raise money for their operations.
One is the second edition of their Tracy Family cookbook--and the other, glass ornaments which they say are completely unique.
"The ornaments are hand-blown glass from Hiram Toraason in Peoria. Every single one of them is individually made," Jamie Foster with the Quincy Area Alzheimer's Association said.
In addition to donating to research, the local Alzheimer's Association provides a wide range of services to families dealing with the effects of the disease.
