Disbarred Quincy attorney pleads guilty to theft

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy attorney disbarred for stealing from his client has pleaded guilty to theft.

Devin Cashman, 53, was sentenced to two years probation, 500 hours of community service and fined $3,000.

Earlier this year, Cashman was disbarred by the Illinois Supreme Court after allegations that he took nearly $200,000 from a client trust bank account without authorization.
