QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- Quincy City Council approved changing the two-way stop at 9th and Oak to a four-way stop.
The council voted Monday night to approve the ordinance due to increased traffic in the area. Some residents say they want the four way stop to help reduce the risks for accidents and slow down traffic. A proposal to add a four-way stop at 21st and Madison was denied.
