MACOMB, Ill. (WGEM) -- The college signing period paid a visit to Macomb on Tuesday morning as standout volleyball player Jessa Coker signed on with Lincoln College.

She's quickly developed into one of the area's best during her career with the Lady Bombers.

Now Coker is taking her love for the game to the next level.

"I need to get ready to play at a faster pace as the college level," Coker said. 

"(Lincoln) is enthusiastic, it's just the way I like to play. I have thought about being a PE teacher and a volleyball coach because I love the sport so much. It's my passion."

Coker is likely to make an immediate impact with the Lynx.
