After 12 years of helping animals in need, Paw Pals will be closing its doors.
The decision was made by the Paw Pals Board after reviewing all possible options.
The group will continue to offer emergency vet care assistance and will keep the pet food pantry running until May 1, 2013, and will also be accepting cash donations through December 31, 2012.
All remaining cash and belongings will be donated to other non-profit groups with the same mission when operations cease.
Over the past 12 years, Paw Pals has provided thousands of free spay/neuter surgeries, hundreds of pets have received veterinary care, and the Pet Food Pantry has fed thousands of animals, with shelter also being provided to hundreds of pets.
