(WGEM) -- The numbers are in from this fall's firearm deer season in Illinois, and once again, Pike County lead the state.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources says around 99,000 deer where harvested statewide during the seven days.
That's 1,500 more than last year.
Pike County had the highest total with just over 3,000 deer.
Adams County was third with 2,500.
The archery deer season, continues through Jan. 20.
