Man dies after falling off ladder in McDonough County

(WGEM) -- A 36-year-old man from Tennessee, Illinois, is dead after falling from a ladder in rural McDonough County.

The McDonough County Coroner's Office says Anthony Williams died Tuesday afternoon after suffering traumatic injuries to his head, face and upper chest.

Authorities say Williams was exchanging wiring from one utility pole to another when the accident happened.
