Quincy man pleads guilty to indecent solicitation of a child

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy man originally charged with child pornography pleads guilty to indecent solicitation of a child.

Earl Wierschem, Jr., 46, was arrested last November for exchanging pornographic images with several underage females whom he "friended" on MySpace.

The investigation began back in 2008 when police in California say Wierschem was linked to a fictitious MySpace profile.

Wierschem is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 10.
