The Bank of Quincy is hosting a fund drive in December to benefit the Walter Hammond Day Care.
"We understand how difficult it has been to reopen the day care and want to assist them in restoring high quality childcare that will provide lasting benefits to our local children and families," said Mark Hayes, President of Bank of Quincy.
Those wanting to make a donation or money or childcare supplies can drop them off at either Bank of Quincy location, at 12th and Broadway, and 48th and Broadway in Quincy through December 19.
The day care is in need of the following items:
Pull-ups (size large)
hats and mittens
girls and boys clothing (sizes 2T-6T)
books and toys (for ages 2-12 years old)
Meal supplies such as paper plates, plastic utensils, paper towels.
