The holidays have come once again at the Governor John Wood mansion.
The theme this year for their holiday tour is a "Christmas Candlelight Tour".
Re-enactors of the woods greeted visitors, and each of the rooms were festively decorated - and showcased some historical relics - such as a table in the dining room that hosted a president.
"The night of October 12, 1858 - when Abraham Lincoln came to Quincy, the night before his debate with Stephen A. Douglas, he stayed in the home of Senator Orville Browning, and had dinner with the Brownings, and so far we believe this is the table where he had dinner," said Patrick McGinley with the board of historical society.
Tours will also be held on the 16th, the 26th and the 27th from 6-8 p.m. They are free and open to the public.
