It's $1,000, for free!
The Quincy Service League is now accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations.
QSL hosts an annual Holiday Gift Show that brings in about $20,000, which is used to fund the grants.
Any not-for-profit organization can apply and a committee of six members will then choose the winners.
One organizer says one the most memorable experiences for her was helping Cheerful Home.
"We were able to give them the money to purchase new cribs so that they could comply with state regulations and state open. So that made us feel really good," Rachel Hansen, Quincy Service League President, said.
The completed applications must be received on or before January 15. The grants will be awarded after April 1.
