The Bank of Quincy is spreading the holiday cheer this year by donating to another Quincy organization.
The Bank of Quincy is matching up to $500 in donations and giving it to the Walter Hammond Daycare of Quincy.
The daycare will receive the funds just in time for Christmas.
Lisa Sams, the director of the Walter Hammond Daycare center says she is thankful for the donation and already has a few ideas of how to put the money to good use.
"That means like two electric bills paid for the month, it means a couple of children's co-pays that are off-set so it means a great deal," said Sams.
Not only will the Bank of Quincy donate money to the daycare center, but they will also be delivering Christmas presents to the kids as well.
If you'd like to donate, you can drop off monetary or childcare supplies to either Bank of Quincy location before December 19.
