Quincy Public Library hosts ornament workshop

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

The Quincy Public Library held its annual Ornament Workshop on Saturday for kids of all ages.

The children and parents that attended were able to make three ornaments by hand and then take them home for their own Christmas tree.

Organizers say events like this one get more popular each year.

"So whenever we plan we usually try to add ten percent because we know we're going to get more kids each year that we present them. So attendance is growing for every program," said Ruth Cuthbertson, the Marketing and Events Librarian.

Upcoming events at the Quincy Public Library include cookies and cocoa with Santa and the Holly Jolly Christmas Party. For more information you can head to www.quincylibrary.org
