Quincy city officials are taking a proactive approach against a devastating insect.
They're hosting another presentation on the Emerald Ash Borer Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the city council chambers.
An expert with the Department of Agriculture will explain the effects the insect has on ash trees and the treatment and removal of infected trees. Last month, an arborist spoke to the city council about the dangers of the borer.
City officials say there has been a lot of discussion on what to do moving forward.
