New teen center to open in Palmyra

A new teen reach center will soon open in Palmyra.

Crews are renovating the former auto parts store on West Main Cross. Owner Ron Kraft said the center will feature tutoring and video games, as well as social activities like dances.

Kraft said there's a major need in the community for something like this.

"I'm not doing this for me. I'm doing this for our youth in Palmyra," Kraft said. "I think we have a good group of kids in Palmyra, and I think this is going to mean a lot to them I hope."

Kraft hopes to open The Main Hangout by the end of the year.
