State Street Bank sponsoring Angel Trees for kids in need

With Christmas now just two weeks away, many of us have our plans set, and a lot to look forward to. But that's not the case for everyone.

That's why State Street Bank in Quincy is sponsoring two Angel Trees to benefit kids who attend the Early Childhood Center.  Both trees were covered with cards, each listing an anonymous child in need of presents.

Bank President Mike Mahair says without the program, some kids might not have much of a Christmas at all.

"Their Christmas might not be very exciting without this promotion that we're doing for Early Childhood, and we're just happy to participate again this year," said Mahair.

If you'd like to help give presents to a child in need, Angel Trees are up at both State Street Bank locations at 8th and State and 48th and Broadway in Quincy.

The Salvation Army also has three Angel Trees at Walmart, the Quincy Mall, and the Kroc Center in Quincy
