Repair work on Highway 61 north of Canton to start next week

CANTON, Mo. (WGEM) -

Expect some delays on Highway 61 in Northeast Missouri next week.

MoDOT crews will be filling and sealing pavement cracks north of Canton starting Wednesday.

Repairs will take place at several intervals from Route B to the Clark County line near St. Patrick.

Traffic will be down to one lane.

Work is expected to be complete by Dec. 28.
