Some people had a very "Barry" Christmas on Saturday.
The city of Barry, Illinois hosted its first annual "ChristmasTime in Barry."
Many downtown stores had special vendors, music and even Santa Claus made an appearance.
Ruthie Jolly who owns Ruthie's Blackberry Run says she hopes the event shows people just what the country town has to offer.
"We have three new businesses in town and Barry has an opportunity to show that we are expanding and that we are progressing and it is a small town and we want the public to know we've got what you need," said Jolly.
People got the chance to take free horse-drawn carriage rides as well.
The event runs until 5 p.m. on Saturday.
