JWCC launches career makeover challenge

Looking to change your life? You might be in need a Career Makeover.

WGEM is partnering with John Wood Community College to help someone get a higher education.  This is the first year of the event, where one individual will receive a scholarship from the John Wood Community Foundation, including fees and books.  Organizers say they're trying to get more adults involved in educating themselves.

"This is something that happens everyday behind the scenes.  We have examples of people doing their own career makeovers.  We want to make this more public and inspire other people to do the same," said Public Relations Director Tracy Orne.

You have to be 24 or older to apply for the Career Makeover challenge.  To sign up, click on this link.
