Christmas break programs available for working parents

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

For kids, the holidays mean an extended break from school, but for parents, finding somewhere for their kids to go during the day can be a hassle.

Quincy's Kroc Center is hosting its School's Out Day Camp from December 26th through the 28th and again January 2nd through the 4th.

The camp costs $25 per kid each day and there are plenty of activities to keep kids entertained.

"We want to provide something for the children that is fun, safe, exciting for them to do while they are of out school. We also want to provide something for families, so that is the second piece, for parents who have to work that provides them a place to bring their kids," Youth Ministries Manager Mike Price.

The camp is open to kids ages 5 to 11 and a $5 per child discount is available if you send more than one.
