Last minute shoppers flood stores this time of year, but one retail store tells says folks in Quincy have been good so far.
Best Buy Operations Manager Jim White tells us that it's a very busy time of year.
Ever since Thanksgiving he has seen shoppers flood through the doors of his store shopping for Christmas treasures.
He has some advice for those of us who have not yet finished our Christmas shopping list, "Go early. Just realize you know that there will be some waits unfortunately you know.. but that we're trying real hard for ya.."
The National Retail Federation said in a report that November sales were up, there was a solid start nationwide to the Christmas shopping season.
And it says it still expects sales to rise, with stores throwing in extras for some lucky shoppers.
Such as Kohl's picking up the tab for a shopper every day, and Banana Republic giving away cars, and other retailers doing some things like that as well as staying open around the clock.
White says that if you want those last minute deals, getting to the stores in the morning is a good way to beat the crowd.
He says afternoons are their busiest times.
