Quincy man behind bars for unlawful use of a weapon

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy man is behind bars after police arrested him for Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

According to the Quincy Police Department, shortly after 1:00 AM Wednesday morning, police were called to the 900 block of State Street to the reports of a man with a gun.

Joshua Coonrod was found in the alley from 9th to 10th, between State and Ohio, brandishing a loaded handgun.

He was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and has been placed in the Adams County Jail.
