The day after Christmas has become known as "he day of eturns" because of the rush of shoppers that hit stores to trade in unwanted gifts.
"Sadly return lines get a little long unfortunately," said Quincy Best Buy manager Jim White.
And long they were. The return lines at Quincy's Best Buy almost seemed never-ending today.
Among the shoppers in line, Kortney Huggins and her friend Makayla were there to return a duplicate Christmas present.
Huggins said returning gifts the day after Christmas ensures you won't miss any deadlines.
"Some of the time they have the limited time you can return it," said Huggins.
Manager Jim White said his store is always busy the day after Christmas.
"It started just when we opened. You know Christmas was just yesterday so you have a lot of people in today you know some doing returns some doing exchanges," said White.
Luckily for Toni Benjamin, she didn't have to wait in those long lines.
"A lot of gifts cards, no returns this year," said Benjamin.
Benjamin said she came with her son Dawson who wanted to pick out his gifts.
"He has some cash so he is trying to make big decisions on which purchases he wants to spend the cash on, he is going to add to his gift cards," said Benjamin.
White said if you plan on hitting the stores for any reason this week, be prepared.
"Ideally a customer has in their hands an ID, a receipt, and some patience," said White.
