Monticello man dies from falling tree

LEWIS COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) -

A Missouri man died Thursday afternoon after a tree fell on him.

Andrew Raleigh, 32, of rural Monticello, was cutting down a tree on his farm when part of it fell on him. Emergency crews responded to the accident and arrived at the farm shortly after 1 p.m.

Lewis County Coroner Larry Arnold said Raleigh was pronounced dead at the scene.
