The United Way of the Mark Twain Area is making a final push to collect money for its annual campaign.
The organization has reached 70 percent of its goal of $565,000 for the year.
Officials say the money goes directly to the people of Marion, Ralls, Lewis and Shelby counties.
"Our agencies provide services to children, to senior citizens through the nutrition centers. We fund the services for disabled adults, as well as health and education, family programs," said Lou Lemon.
