Multiple Boil Orders in Quincy

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Multiple boil orders to report in the city of Quincy.

The Director of Utilities reports a boil order on Lewis Drive between 33rd and 35th streets. Residents will need to boil their water for the next two days.

Service had been interrupted for some of the afternoon. 

Also, residents living on 30th street between Broadway and Oak will also need to boil their water, after a water main break yesterday.

Finally, residents living on Maple Street between 20th and 23rd, and 22nd Street between Sycamore and Locust.

Central services director Marty Stegeman said cold weather is to blame.
