Keokuk man in jail for drug and arson charges


A Keokuk man is behind bars after being arrested for felony drug and arson charges.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force says that Darrell Azbill was arrested on December 27th.

His arrest stems from a suspicious house fire at 316 South 11th Street in Keokuk. One person was severely injured in the fire.

Azbill faces charges of manufacturing meth, and arson in the first degree. If convicted, he could spend up to 100 years in prison.
